Ever since the discovery of Exandorra and it's inhabitants, humans gained a new powerful tool in medicine in the form of a flying leech that lives there. When the leech is about to feed it regurgitates gastric fluids that break down the the Exandorran wildlife but to humans it has an almost magic properties, healing even the most severe of wounds. The leech is now used both on the battlefields and in hospitals and while it is a unpleasant experience it has saved thousands of lives.
